About Us
The Director, Alison Tarrant, together with teachers and concerned parents, formed Applied Scholastics Western Australia after seeing the consistently effective (and in some cases miraculous) results she accomplished using Study Technology.
As this method of learning is widely known to educators, teachers, parents, tutors and business trainers in many countries, the team at Applied Scholastics in Perth did not want the Australian public to miss out on an opportunity to avail themselves of this most effective and simple method of learning.
Applied Scholastics Western Australia is a non-profit, charitable institution having its Constitution approved and endorsed by DOCEP (Department of Consumer and Employment Protection). Therefore, we are legally incorporated. We have also obtained DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status with the Australian Taxation Office - which means that any donations made to our School Building Fund are tax deductible.
Our staff have undergone rigorous training to become qualified Instructors and Tutors in the Applied Scholastics™ learning methodologies, which are precise methods delivered in precise ways matching the standards set by Applied Scholastics. The precision and maintenance of the standard bring about the incredibly effective results.
The first Applied Scholastics organisation was formed in 1972 by educators from colleges, universities, and both public and private schools.
Currently the Applied Scholastics network is composed of 850 schools, centres, community programmes and individual tutors who now operate in 64 countries over 6 continents around the world. Over 110,000 educators (teachers, professors, business trainers, parents and tutors) have received Study Technology training. To date, over 29 million people from all walks of life have been helped with Study Technology.
