The Applied Scholastics Centre in Perth prides itself in providing a range of educational services to children and adults of all ages and nationalities. Our courses and tutoring programs are not just for students with learning difficulties, but also for students who wish to increase their learning ability. We also have courses for Educators (classroom teachers and professors, business trainers and managers, homeschooling parents and parents helping their children) so they are able to truly understand why their students are having difficulties and how to remedy this.

For those of you who find it difficult to attend our Centre due to distance or time, we also have Correspondence Courses available so you are able to study in the comfort of your own home.
As our main focus is to increase the literacy level of children and adults Nationwide, we also deliver Phonics Tutoring to any individual who needs assistance with reading, writing, spelling and comprehension problems. Phonics is a method of teaching reading; it teaches that letters and combinations of letters represent specific sounds. All tutoring is delivered on a one-to-one basis.

Furthermore, we have developed The Australian Teaching Modern Phonics Course which is a comprehensive step by step literacy programme that utilises the Study Technology. This course is for any Educator or parent who wishes to gain the ability to teach an individual to read, write, spell and comprehend using our methods.
We also offer tutoring in general Literacy (focusing on spelling, grammar, punctuation and comprehension) and Mathematics (focusing on missed basics such as arithmetic, fractions, decimals, etc.).
